In total, seven vehicles were recovered, and two arrests were made.<\/p>\n<p>The following vehicles were recovered during the operation:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toyota RAV4 (unoccupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from the Port of Seattle. Located in the Angle Lake Parking Garage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Audi A4 (unoccupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from unincorporated King County. Located at the Tukwila International Blvd Station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dodge Challenger (unoccupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from the Fife area. Located at a motel parking lot in the 16700 block of International Blvd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kia Forte (unoccupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from the Seattle area. Located in the 3300 block of S 173rd St.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kia Forte (occupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from the Des Moines area. Located in a grocery store parking lot at S 216th St and International Blvd. An adult male was arrested and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle. Three other suspects fled from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kia Rio (occupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from unincorporated King County. Located at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of S 216th St. An adult female was arrested and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kia Optima (unoccupied)<\/strong><br \/>\nStolen from unincorporated King County. Located in the 3000 block of S 208th St.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, an unlicensed BMW 7 Series fled from detectives and could not be pursued.<\/p>\n<p>We want to thank the SeaTac Police Department, the King County Sheriff\u2019s Office and Washington State Patrol for participating in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAuto thefts are a regional issue,\u201d said Sgt. Jeff Carroll of the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force. \u201cWe have detectives from multiple agencies within King and Pierce Counties working together to aggressively investigate prolific thieves and get people their stolen vehicles back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tips to protect your vehicle:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Remove or hide all valuables<br \/>\n&#8211; Lock your car<br \/>\n&#8211; Don\u2019t leave keys or fobs inside<br \/>\n&#8211; Don\u2019t leave your vehicle running unattended<br \/>\n&#8211; Use anti-theft devices (alarm, kill switch, steering wheel lock)<br \/>\n&#8211; Park in well-lit areas<\/p>\n<p>The Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force (PSATT) is dedicated to investigating prolific auto theft offenders through multi-agency cooperation in King &amp; Pierce Counties.
