The residence has been a hot spot for drive-by shootings and stolen vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>This boarding was the result of a five-month joint investigation between the Tacoma Police Department\u2019s Community Policing Unit, the Pierce County Sheriff\u2019s Department\u2019s Civil Unit, and our task force.<\/p>\n<p>Since Oct. 1, 2022, there have been approximately 37 calls for service at this residence, 3 drive-by shootings, and 10 stolen cars have been recovered. A prolific violent offender associated with the home was arrested last week by the Pierce County Sheriff\u2019s Department after a foot chase.<\/p>\n<p>The house is now boarded up with a \u201cDo Not Occupy\/Enter: Subject to arrest\u201d warning sign posted.
