Pierce County Sheriff’s Traffic Investigators are attempting to locate a green or teal green 1996 to 2000 Chevy Silverado, regular cab pickup truck that fled the scene of a serious injury hit and run collision involving a pedestrian in the 9800 block of Canyon Rd E, which occurred on April 10th, 2026, at approximately 10:16 pm. New surveillance video shows the distinct green or teal pickup truck traveling southbound on Canyon Rd E. The Chevy truck was traveling southbound on Canyon Rd E. when the pedestrian was struck. The Chevy truck has damage to the front grill. The Chevy was last seen continuing southbound toward 112th St E.
Previous images were released of grill parts to the suspect truck. Parts collected from the scene indicate there would be damage to the front grill of the truck.
The pedestrian that was struck in this case, has sustained serious life-altering injuries. Please call our office if you have any information on the suspect truck or driver.
