Deebo Strikes again on his 7th capture. As our newest K9, he’s wasted no time learning how this works. On June 1st at 10:08 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence altercation that involved a male punching a family member in the face and fleeing the scene on foot. Probable cause was established for domestic violence assault, and K9 Deebo knew it was time to go to work. We received multiple calls from residents reporting that a suspicious male was in their backyards. The description matched the suspect that had fled the domestic violence altercation.
Deebo quickly gets the track and goes to work. He traveled through some backyards and into some thick brush when he spotted the 36-year-old male suspect bunkered down in the woods. The male gives up and is taken into custody. He gets cleared by Fire and is later booked into the Pierce County Jail for assault in the 4th degree/DV.
