Congratulations to (left to right) Deputy Caleb Gold-Mchugh, Deputy Jason Gilliland, Deputy Tyler Flesher, and Deputy Alexander Horner on successfully completing the Criminal Justice Training Academy!
Throughout the academy, these deputies demonstrated professionalism, leadership, and dedication to serving the citizens of Pierce County. Deputies Horner, Gold-Mchugh, and Flesher were each elected by their classmates to serve as Squad Leaders. This is a testament to the respect and confidence they earned from their peers.
Deputy Gilliland was honored with a nomination for the prestigious Patrol Partner Award, a peer-voted recognition presented to the recruit that fellow classmates would most want by their side as backup on any patrol call. This nomination reflects the trust, dependability, and teamwork he demonstrated throughout the academy.
We are incredibly proud of each of these deputies and look forward to welcoming them home as they begin serving and protecting the Pierce County community. Congratulations, and thank you for your commitment to public service!
