#1 Residential Burglary While Victims Were Home
This first call was a residential burglary where a male entered a home while residents were still inside. One of the homeowners was doing yard work outside while his granddaughter was inside the house. The suspect entered the home and went up to the bedrooms where he proceeded to steal jewelry. As he entered the granddaughter’s room, he was scared off and fled on foot. We were able to get a good photo and description of the suspect and multiple residents reported a male matching the description had been jumping fences and running through yards.
Shortly later, a deputy spots the male, and a foot pursuit ensues. The 58-year-old male was captured and arrested for felony residential burglary and resisting arrest. A bag the suspect was carrying contained the jewelry that had been reported stolen from the victim’s home.
