At 5:53pm our dispatchers received a 911 call saying someone was shot at the Monterra Apartments at the 400 block of 112th St E.<\/p>\n
Deputies arrived on scene and found a 16-year-old male down in an apartment. Deputies started treating the boy and performed CPR while waiting for fire to arrive on scene.<\/p>\n
Deputies were told the incident occurred after several males had an altercation in the parking lot. A vehicle involved in the incident ran into two other parked vehicles before fleeing the area.<\/p>\n
While at the scene we learned the juvenile male who had been shot passed away at the hospital. The man who was driving the vehicle showed up to another hospital with a gunshot wound and he is currently in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Detectives and forensic investigators were called out to take over the scene. We have no suspects in custody at this time. We expect to be out at the apartment late into the night.<\/p>\n
