Commercial Burglary
20400 blk Mountain Hwy E, Spanaway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies were dispatched to a commercial burglary that occurred at a vape store. When they arrived, deputies found a silver Hyundai Elantra that had been driven through the glass front doors. According to surveillance video, one suspect drove the car into the business, and then three others rushed in to steal merchandise. They all appear to be juveniles and we believe they fled in waiting vehicles. The Hyundai was stolen overnight from a nearby neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commercial Burglary
10700 blk Park Ave S, Parkland<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A deputy was dispatched to a commercial burglary that occurred at a bar. When the deputy arrived, the owner told her that he received notifications from his alarm system and drove to the business to check it out. The door was pried open and the safe in his office had been damaged. The suspect cut the door off the safe and took cash. There is no video footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Hill<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 19-year-old male reported that he had sent intimate photos of himself to someone he met online and was now being extorted. The suspect threatened to send the photos to his friends if he did not send money. The victim sent $600 through an app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stolen Vehicle Recovery
15100 blk Pacific Ave S, Spanaway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a parking lot, patrol deputies spotted a red Acura Integra that was displaying license plates that belong to a silver Chevy Impala. They contacted a male suspect who was working on the vehicle. They pointed out the switched plates and told the suspect they needed to do some further investigation. There was a piece of paper covering the VIN plate in the windshield, so they asked the suspect to remove it. When he did, they discovered that the VIN plate had been removed. The VIN sticker in the door jamb looked like it had been peeled off another vehicle and placed on this one. Deputies found a secondary VIN sticker which matches a red Acura Integra that was stolen in Tukwila. The 36-year-old suspect was arrested and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16800 blk 3rd Ave Ct E, Spanaway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies were dispatched to a report of two suspicious vehicles in a mobile home park. The vehicles didn\u2019t have license plates, so the 911 caller believed they were stolen. When deputies arrived, they detained two suspects \u2013 a 29-year-old male and a 25-year-old female. Both vehicles, a Kia Sportage and a Chevy Tahoe were confirmed stolen.
