When she stopped to talk to them, they told her that a woman was driving erratically and had crashed into multiple fences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deputy continued down 136th St E and saw damage to poles and fences on both sides of the road. She came upon the suspect\u2019s vehicle and several witnesses in the 400 block of 136th St E. The car had crashed head-on into a metal fence pole and was dragging goat fencing behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver was still in her car, but a witness had taken her keys. The driver smelled like alcohol and slurred her words. She told the deputy that she didn\u2019t mean to get that drunk and that she just needed someone to follow her home. The deputy told her that was not an option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 39-year-old suspect was arrested and transported to a precinct so one of our deputies (a certified phlebotomist) could complete a blood draw. The suspect told deputies that she may have taken meth but wasn\u2019t sure.
