{"id":2001,"date":"2024-05-11T02:24:14","date_gmt":"2024-05-11T02:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.piercecountywa.gov\/pcsdblotter\/?p=2001"},"modified":"2024-05-11T02:24:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-11T02:24:16","slug":"13-year-old-boy-dies-from-probable-overdose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.piercecountywa.gov\/pcsdblotter\/2024\/05\/11\/13-year-old-boy-dies-from-probable-overdose\/","title":{"rendered":"13-year-old Boy Dies From Probable Overdose"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At 08:03 am, on Friday May 10th, paramedics from Central Pierce Fire responded to a medical emergency of a 13-year-old male who was not breathing at a home in Spanaway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately paramedics were unable to save the teen who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies were called to assist for a death investigation because of the young age of the teen. Deputies could see narcotic paraphernalia near the teen and immediately called for detectives and forensic investigators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teen was staying at his relatives home overnight with his brothers. Detectives interviewed everyone at the home and have applied for a search warrant.
