The caller stated their father sent text messages saying he killed their mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When deputies went inside the residence they found the 53-year-old woman was deceased. Detectives and forensic investigators were called to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputies immediately issued a BOLO for the suspect and his vehicle statewide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 6:36 pm, Auburn PD advised they had detained the suspect with his vehicle at the Chevron Gas Station at 2802 Auburn Wy S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detectives and forensic investigators served a warrant at the home and will also be serving a warrant on the suspect&#8217;s vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 53-year-old suspect was booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the 1st Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\"  id=\"_ytid_66066\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"  data-origwidth=\"800\" data-origheight=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ktNgevga-Do?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;modestbranding=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At 3:27 pm, on July 5th our deputies responded to conduct a welfare check at a residence in Rhododendron Park.
