When he&#8217;s not on duty at the Pierce County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Everest gets to enjoy the simple joys of being a regular dog. Whether he&#8217;s chasing squirrels, running with his buddies, or just soaking in the freedom without his vest, Everest knows how to make the most of his days at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But being a working dog means staying sharp! \ud83d\udcaa Everest keeps up with regular fitness and obedience training \u2014 from treadmill workouts to monthly training sessions \u2014 to ensure he&#8217;s always ready to serve the community with his signature enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the best parts of working with Everest? Seeing the happiness he brings, not only to our personnel but to everyone in the community.
