On Friday October 18th at 9:42 pm, our deputies responded to assist fire fighters who were performing CPR on a man at his home in Graham.
The firefighters believed he had a wound that was not self-inflicted.
Deputies arrived on scene and the man was pronounced deceased. Deputies spoke to family members who explained the 54-year-old man was arguing with his son in the detached garage.
Detectives were able to develop probable cause to arrest the 25-year-old son who had fled in his black Chevrolet 3500 truck.
A law enforcement bulletin was immediately sent out to all law enforcement agencies.
On October 19th, at around 4:43 pm, a Puyallup Police Officer spotted the suspect’s vehicle at the 3900 block of Meridian E. He followed the vehicle until additional deputies and Puyallup officers arrived.
They performed a high risk felony stop and took the suspect into custody without further incident.
The suspect was transported and booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the 1st Degree.
