This weekend a lot of our seniors are graduating. Other kids will be attending proms and other activities before summer break. We at the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department want to remind you the most important thing is making it home safely.
The past two months we partnered with the Puyallup Extrication Team and Central Pierce Fire to show kids at local schools an example of what happens when we respond to a fatal DUI collision.
There is no reason to drive or get into a car with someone who is not sober. Pay for an Uber, phone a sober friend or call your parents.
The alternative is much worse than you can imagine.
So please, don’t let this be you or your friends. You have the rest of your life ahead of you, but you cant make any of your dreams happen if you never make it home.
