Over the Weekend 12-8-25

#1 Illegal Marijuana Grow

On December 5th, our Special Investigations Unit made several arrests connected to an illegal marijuana grow operation. Three adult females and four adult males were arrested in connection with the grow and will be facing charges of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a building for drug purposes. Three search warrants were served at three different locations: the 8100 block of 113th St. Ct E and the 22000 block of 45th Ave. E, and finally, the 7500 block of 184th St. E. Inside each location, large grow operations were found. Over 2,000 plants were confiscated, along with all the materials used to run the operations. Over $16,000 in cash was found, and two guns were confiscated. Marijuana is legal in Washington State; however, unlicensed marijuana grows can be dangerous, and they are illegal.

#2 Residential Burglary, Suspect Gets Stuck

On December 5th, around 6:30pm, deputies responded to an in-progress residential burglary located at the 17400 block of Park Ave. S. The homeowners reported an unknown male was actively banging on the front door and attempting to get in. They were so scared that they used couches to barricade the front door. At one point, the suspect goes around the back of the house, attempts to break a window, and then breaks through a fence to crawl under. His foot ends up getting stuck under the fence, and he finds himself in a predicament. Deputies contact the male with his foot stuck in the fence and have to get bolt cutters to free his foot from the fence. Once the male’s foot was unstuck, the 20-year-old was arrested for residential burglary. It was clear he was under the influence of a substance.
