DUI Collision
10400 blk 22nd Ave E, Parkland
Deputies were dispatched to a collision involving a single vehicle that crashed into a fence. When they arrived, medics were treating the driver. They told deputies that when they arrived, the driver was unconscious, and they had to wake him up. They noticed eight fentanyl pills sitting on top of a jacket on the passenger seat, and the driver was holding a lighter. The 36-year-old driver was arrested for DUI and was transported to the hospital for a blood draw. He was then booked into jail for DUI with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device, and driving with a suspended/revoked license.

Commercial Burglary
15200 blk Pacific Ave S, Spanaway
Deputies were dispatched to a commercial burglary in progress at a drug store. When they arrived, the suspects were gone. An employee told them that prior to the store opening for the day, one of the suspects shattered the glass front door. He and another suspect stole liquor and cigarettes. Concerned for their safety, the employees watched from the back room and called 911. Deputies are working with the store manager to obtain surveillance video.

Commercial Burglary
10000 blk 213th St E, Graham
A deputy was dispatched to a commercial burglary that occurred at a towing business. When he arrived, the owner provided him with surveillance video, which showed a truck pull into the empty parking lot. The driver peered around the building, lowered his tailgate, and then backed into the glass front doors. The suspect stole cash from the business and then fled in the truck, which had been reported stolen in Lakewood.

Shoplifting, Trespass Notification
1600 blk 72nd St E, Midland
A deputy was flagged down by a grocery store manager in the parking lot. He told her that a male suspect had just shoplifted from the store. The manager had told the suspect to put the items back, but he refused. While searching the area, the deputy located the suspect in a nearby parking lot. The deputy arrested the 33-year-old suspect, and when she searched his bag, she located the stolen items. The suspect was booked into jail for theft in the third degree, and for his warrants: assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), and violation of a protection order. He was also formally trespassed from the store. If he returns, he is subject to arrest for burglary.
