Homicide in Parkland
At 1:23 pm, on Saturday November 4th, our deputies responded to a person found deceased at a residence at the 12900 block of Park Ave S in Parkland. Central Pierce Firefighters were originally dispatched for a person down with no pulse. When firefighters rolled the man over to administer aid they discovered he had a gunshot wound to his head. They immediately called for deputies to respond.
Detectives and forensic investigators responded to the scene. There are no suspects in custody at this time and the incident is still under investigation. The deceased was a 53-year-old man who had lived at the residence.
