Over the Weekend 9-22-25

It’s time to review the weekend and take a look at what some of our deputies were up to. In this case, one of our suspects finds himself in an awkward situation when he gets stuck under a car.

On September 22nd around 2:15am, deputies received reports of three subjects in ski masks and gloves in an SUV prowling around the 400 block of Wheeler St. S. in Parkland. Deputies arrived and observed the SUV leaving the area with the three masked subjects. The vehicle was listed as stolen.A short pursuit ended at the 1500 block of 99th St. E when the car veered off the road and three male subjects jumped out.

The 18-year-old male driver was quickly taken into custody before he could jump a fence. After attempting to hide, another 18-year-old male passenger was found trapped beneath a car. The third passenger was a 16-year-old male who fled to someone’s backyard and attempted to convince deputies he lived there and was not involved. The two adult suspects were booked into the Pierce County Jail for possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, obstruction, and eluding. The 16-year-old male was booked into Remann Hall.

We encourage everyone to report suspicious people and behaviors. Because of the citizen that reported, we were able to stop potentially a whole night of crime. Great job, and keep up the good work, deputies!
