At 3:21 am, on Sunday September 3rd, our deputies responded to a 911 call of shots fired with a disturbance at 105th Ln E and 188th St Ct E in the Lipoma Firs neighborhood.
Several callers said they heard multiple shots being fired and then several vehicles leaving the area.
When deputies arrived on scene they could not find anyone from the disturbance. One caller advised they had been talking to a friend on the phone and knew they had been shot.
Deputies were able to locate the victim down on the basketball court just below the street. Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the 19-year-old male as deceased.
Detectives and Forensic Investigators were called to search for evidence and document the scene.
At this time we know there was a group of people gathering in the neighborhood having a party. We do not believe the group lived in the area. At some point there was an argument and multiple shots were fired.
