On October 14th, around 8:30am, a male victim called 911 to report two male subjects were seen on Ring Camera, while he was at work, prowling around his house and backyard, while his pregnant wife was home with their small child. Deputies arrived promptly in the area after the victim reported the suspects were last seen walking eastbound at the 700 block of Military Rd. E in Parkland. Deputies spotted one of the subjects on another property shortly after, and the second suspect was located further down the road by another deputy. The first suspect was removed from the property after he claimed he was trying to charge his phone and retrieve the Treger he had left behind when the house was vacant. The second suspect had a large suitcase with him that was filled with burglary tools. Both the 44-year-old and 41-year-old suspects were booked into the Pierce County Jail for residential burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Great work to these deputies for their prompt response and for arresting these suspects. With the amount of tools they had, this could have been a lot worse.
