On October 14, 2026, around 7:00 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence shooting at the Canyon Park Apartments, located at the 11000 block of 56th Ave Ct. E, in the Puyallup area.
A female called 911 reporting that her boyfriend had been shot. When deputies arrived, they located a 30-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred following a verbal altercation between the victim and his girlfriend. The 29-year-old female was arrested for Assault in the First Degree, Domestic Violence.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
