At 11:39 am, on August 22nd, our deputies responded to a call of a shooting with a person down at the bus stop near 112th St S and 12th Ave S. Deputies arrived on scene and found two people down at the bus stop. One male was clearly deceased and deputies started administering first aid to the other individual. Paramedics arrived and started lifesaving efforts but the male was pronounced deceased at 11:48 am.
There were several witnesses and deputies were able to gather some surveillance footage of the shooting.
Based on the initial information we know the two subjects had an argument and then both of them pulled out guns and started shooting. Detectives and forensic investigators were called to the scene to conduct witness interviews and collect evidence at the scene.
One of the men is believed the be 18 years old. The other subject has not been identified.
