At 02:17 am, on Tuesday September 10th, our deputies responded to a 911 call of a drive-by-shooting at 19000 and Canyon Rd E. Deputies found the driver was struck by gunfire in the arm and his front passenger had a graze wound. There were two more adults, a 2-year-old and 9 month old child in the back seats of the vehicle. Deputies applied a tourniquet to the man before firefighters arrived on scene.
The 19-year-old man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither child in the backseat was injured. Deputies were told the shooting occurred closer to 78th Ave E and 192nd St E but the victims pulled over on Canyon Rd to call 911.
There are no suspects in custody at this time.
