Residential Burglary  

On 01/11/2025, at approximately 2110 hours, deputies were dispatched to a residential burglary at the 700 block of 114th St S. The victim reported an unknown male walked through her front door and pushed her to the ground, breaking a table and glass vase. A friend who was there at the home with the victim, chased the suspect away. Shortly later, the male suspect was located down the road and arrested for Burglary in the First Degree. He was later transported to the Pierce County Jail. A follow-up with the victim indicated the victim sustained a fracture and torn ligament from being pushed to the ground.  

Vandalism to Business 

On 1/12/2025 at approximately 1434 hours, deputies were dispatched to a vandalism at AMPM located at 10108 194th St E. The reporting party stated that a male had walked up to the business and threw a rock at the window of the business. The reporting party stated that the male was wearing a black sweater with red and black basketball shorts. The window would cost approximately $2,000 to repair. The male was located in the area shortly afterwards and booked into the Pierce County Jail for Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree. 

Hit and Run Collision – Canyon Rd. E 

On 1/12/2025 at approximately 2048 hours, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of 176th St E and Canyon Rd E to investigate a report of a non-injury hit and run collision. The victim of the hit and run stated the other vehicle had ran a red light, then drove down the road and abandoned their damaged vehicle shortly afterwards and climbed into the passenger side of a red truck. A suspect is being investigated in this case.
