The Peer Support Team at PCSO is a dedicated group of trained law enforcement professionals who provide confidential, compassionate, and empathetic support to their peers. Comprised of officers and staff from various divisions, the team’s primary goal is to promote the mental and emotional well-being of our law enforcement officers, as well as their families, by providing resources and a safe space for them to share and process the stresses of the job.
The Peer Support Team’s mission is to ensure the health and well-being of the department’s members by offering non-judgmental, confidential support during times of personal or professional difficulty. This may include providing assistance during critical incidents, helping with coping strategies, offering a listening ear, and connecting personnel and their families with further counseling or mental health services when needed.
