Over the Weekend 11-10-25

#1 Stabbing

On November 7th, around 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at a group adult home in the 600 block of 165th St. S. As they arrived in the area, they located the suspect on foot. While the suspect was being detained, other deputies went to the home where the victim was located. Deputies learned that the 28-year-old male victim had been stabbed with a screwdriver while he was sleeping. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover. The 22-year-old male suspect was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail for assault in the first degree.

#2 Reckless Burning Arrest

On November 9th, around 8:00 p.m., multiple residents called to report a female walking through the neighborhood at 119th St. S and 8th Ave. Ct. S lighting objects on fire and throwing them into people’s yards. Deputies arrived and saw the woman run into a backyard. She was detained, and a lighter and an M-80-type explosive were found on her person. She was positively identified by the victims. The 33-year-old female was booked into the Pierce County Jail for two counts of reckless burning in the second degree.

#3 Stolen Excavator and Trailer

On November 7th, around 7:00 a.m., deputies responded to the 11100 block of 66th Ave. E in the Puyallup area for a report of a stolen excavator and trailer. Deputies obtained surveillance video showing two suspects arriving in a truck and using bolt cutters to open the fence. Within minutes, they hooked up the trailer, with the excavator loaded, and drove away.
