Did You Know You Can Report Online?

Reporting online for non-emergency calls is FAST and EASY! Sometimes you just need a case number quickly for documentation or insurance purposes. Or maybe you want to bypass waiting for a deputy for a non-emergency call and save a lot of time. It also frees up our deputies to handle more serious, in progress crimes. Online reporting can be used to report non-emergency crimes such as thefts, vehicle prowls, fraud, vandalism or lost property.

Once you file an online report, it’s reviewed by a Sergeant, and it gets sent to the proper investigative unit for further review. All online reports get just as much attention as our patrol reports. These reports can be very helpful when identifying crime trends or crime hotspots in the community. You may not think it’s valuable to report some crimes, but we actually want every crime documented since many of our crimes can be connected and solved by trends and patterns.
