On Dec. 6, at 6:32 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a vehicle-vs-bicycle collision in the 9200 block of 224th St E in Graham.
When deputies arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy with serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspect left the scene before deputies arrived, but left behind the car’s front bumper and license plate.
Deputies drove to the registered owner’s residence and located the suspect’s vehicle, which had significant front-end damage.
Deputies spoke with the residents, a husband a wife, and determined that the wife was the one who had struck the bicyclist. The 22-year-old woman was arrested and booked into jail for felony hit and run.
The investigation is ongoing.
