DUI Arrest
160th St E & Woodland Ave E, South Hill
Incident # 24-125-00043

A patrol deputy was headed to a call when he spotted a Toyota Corolla swerving back and forth in front of him. As the deputy followed the vehicle, he noticed that it wasn’t maintaining speed, was braking hard and drifted into the oncoming lane. The deputy initiated a traffic stop for DUI. When he contacted the driver and asked her to exit the car, she was stumbling. The 51-year-old driver was arrested for DUI and was taken to the hospital for a blood draw before being booked into jail.

Collision
2600 blk Fox Island Bridge Rd
Incident # 24-125-01489

A deputy was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision that occurred on the Fox Island Bridge. According to his investigation, the driver of a Honda Accord lost control of the vehicle as it was going down a sloped curve. The vehicle spun out and ended up sideways in the oncoming lane. A Ford F-550 was unable to stop and collided with the passenger’s side of the Honda. The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was uninjured.

Reckless Endangerment, Drug Possession
40400 blk Eatonville Cutoff Rd E, Eatonville
Incident # 24-125-01846

Deputies and Eatonville Police officers were dispatched to a gas station parking lot for a possible overdose of a toddler. When the Eatonville officer arrived, the mother handed him the toddler, who was unresponsive and was showing signs of ingesting methamphetamine. Fire personnel arrived and transported the child to the hospital for treatment. At last check, she is in stable condition. Deputies located meth in the 32-year-old mother’s clothing. She and the 39-year-old father were arrested and booked into jail for reckless endangerment. Three other children were taken into protective custody. Detectives are still investigating how the child obtained and ingested the drugs.

Commercial Burglary
12100 blk Key Peninsula Hwy NW
Incident # 24-126-00558

A deputy was dispatched to a commercial burglary that occurred at a painting business. According to the owner, someone cut a hole in the fence and stole gas from one of the trucks. There was a hose sticking out of the gas tank and there was a large amount of gas on the ground. According to surveillance video, two suspects broke into the yard. At one point, one of the suspects pulled up in a truck. The other suspect loaded a 5-gallon bucket of gas into the back of the truck and they fled.

Vehicle Prowl

Incident # 24-126-00462

A deputy was dispatched to a store parking lot after a 911 caller reported that a woman had broken into her car and was sitting inside it. When he arrived, the victim told her she was working inside the store and saw a woman get into her car. She told the woman to get out of the car, but she refused. As the deputy approached the car, the woman locked the doors. After several minutes, she got out and the deputy arrested her. The deputy noticed that the woman had caused damage to the headliner of the car. The 24-year-old woman was booked into jail for vehicle prowl and malicious mischief.
