Homicide Suspect In Custody.
Detectives immediately developed probable cause to arrest the suspect in the shooting and the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest.
The suspect was located in Oregon and arrested by local law enforcement.
Outstanding job by our detectives to get a warrant out for this suspect before he could go into hiding!
A huge thank you to the OSP Detectives in locating and apprehending this fugitive!

ORIGINAL POST
At 1:44 am, on Monday September 23rd, our deputies responded to a call of a shooting at the 20700 block of 92nd Ave E.
Deputies arrived on scene and found a man down next to the street. They were told another victim was driven to the fire station at 187th and Meridian E.
Deputies secured the scene and followed the second victim to the hospital. The 48-year-old man had serious injuries, but was expected to survive. However his 36-year-old friend was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives and deputies interviewed several people and were able to learn the incident started over a dispute of a motorcycle. The dispute ended with a shooting of the two men and the suspect fleeing the scene.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
