On August 3rd at 2:21 am, deputies received a call for a stabbing located at the 20200 block of 101st St. E, Bonney Lake, WA. When deputies arrived, they located a male victim lying in the front yard. Fire immediately transported the male to a local hospital, but we later learned he had succumbed to his injuries. The 37-year-old male suspect had barricaded himself inside the home. SWAT arrived, and after nearly 4 hours of negotiations and chemical agents being deployed into the home, the suspect came out peacefully. We know both men lived on the property, but this remains an active investigation while we learn what led up to this homicide.
