Are you Ready for the 4th of July?

Whether you like them or hate them, the 4th of July is quickly approaching, and fireworks will be exploding all over. Here is some information you need to know.

  1. You can legally light fireworks on the 4th of July between 10am and 11:59pm. If caught lighting fireworks outside of this time, you could face up to a $1,230 dollar fine!
  2. Please do not call 911 to report a fireworks complaint! Only call 911 if there is a threat to life or property.
  3. To report firework violations, please file a report at fireworksreport.com. This allows the emergency lines to be available for serious emergencies while still getting the complaint reviewed by the proper agency.

We’ve already had several fireworks related emergencies recently, so please follow the directions and use fireworks safely and appropriately.

Huge shout out to the Kalevaria Youth United Methodist Church for welcoming us to their stand off 133rd St. S and Pacific Ave. S!
