19-year-old man shoots, kills uncle at family gathering in Graham

At 8:32 pm, on Sunday July 2nd our deputies responded to a call of a shooting at a residence at 200th St E and 114th Ave E in Graham.

The caller reported a man had been shot and the suspect was being apprehended by other family members.

When deputies arrived on scene the suspect was being held down and was immediately handcuffed. Deputies went to check on the victim and saw he was deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives and forensic investigators were called out to the scene to collect evidence and talk to the other witnesses.

Detectives and deputies learned the family was having a get together and the 19-year-old suspect arrived and shot his 59-year-old uncle outside of the home.

The 19-year-old suspect was booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the 1st Degree.
